The Mill Palace (سرايا الطاحونة) is an Egyptian folk tale about a poor weaver who stumbles upon a magical palace filled with untold riches beneath an old mill. By chance, she and her two younger sisters become prisoners in the palace, held captive by an angel for trespassing. The only way to secure their freedom is to compete in a mysterious game against a man who holds the angel captive within the palace. The angel reveals to the weaver that if she wins, not only will she and her sisters be freed, but she will also inherit the palace and all its treasures.
