The mill palace (سرايا الطاحونة) is an Egyptian folk story about a poor weaver who found a magic palace full of riches under an old mill by chance. An angel keeps her with her two younger sisters prisoners for trespassing, and the only way to regain their freedom and is by playing a game against a man who keeps the angel trapped in the palace. The angel tells the girl that she wouldn't just gain her freedom, she would also inherit the palace and the riches if she won.
